Back in 2008 I was working as a personal chef in Los Angeles and found myself cooking primarily for people with very restrictive diets. As a lover of food, I worked hard to create recipes and dishes that didn’t make one feel like they were missing out and found that a solid sauce could do wonders to enhance a simple protein or vegetable dish.

As I finished my final year at OSU, and in the midst of a senior year freak out, I half joked to my sister that I should just drop out of school and start a sauce company. Thankfully I stuck that final year out, but that was when Feelin’ Saucy was born!

I spent a good year making the sauces over and over again, and each time my sister and I would get together to taste them and tweak the recipes until the flavors were just right.

Starting a sauce business was much more work than I imagined it would be, but I’ve been lucky enough to have an amazing partner in my sister. I’m now an officially certified canner through the FDA and have learned loads about running a food business (a constant process).

We are still just a baby company and are continuing to grow and evolve, and I can’t wait to see where we end up!

These sauces are for you. After much love and kitchen time, I know that our flavors speak for themselves. Despite your diet, food should never be boring.
